Notes
The new site redesign is (mostly) LIVE!
Today I posted the new and improved NathanielPayne.com website. My new central hub of anything and everything within the world of ME. I’ll be retiring Nerdflood, a site that has served me well in the past, and still has quite a bit of juice left within its hollow bones. Potentially, I’ll be shifting the URL to point to my Tumblr site. Sharing interesting nerdy-esque things on the internet via Tumblr seems much more deserving of a name like “nerdflood”, don’t you think?
There’s still a few nagging things to take care of on this site. Some minor cross-browser inconsistencies, for one. A handful of content additions. The MySQL connection for my game database is completely borked somehow, so I need to fix that. And I had originally intended to have my “latest blog post” be a fancy PHP script that queries my most recent blog post and displays whatever content resides within (photos, videos, etc.). But for some reason, it decided to stop functioning the day before I had planned to upload the site. So I need to figure out what’s going on there, too. In the meantime, I’ve replaced the PHP script with a Feedburner HTML embed script, which isn’t nearly as pretty or functional, but at least keeps the page from crashing when loading, so there’s that.
In any case, this is my new online home, the vortex within which I plan to share everything I do from now on. Enjoy!
